2. Dim River (Dim Çayı)

3. Manavgat Waterfall

4. Köprülü Canyon

Located about 1.5 hours from Alanya, this impressive canyon attracts nature lovers and photographers year-round. Köprülü Canyon National Park covers 36 hectares and includes historical Roman bridges, arches, and ancient city ruins.
It is home to one of Turkey’s most famous rafting courses. At 14 kilometres long, it is one of the largest canyons in both Turkey and Europe. It offers a perfect environment for a relaxing day in nature or an adrenaline-filled rafting experience.
5. Red Tower (Kızıl Kule)
Red Tower is an iconic landmark of Alanya, built in 1226 by Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad I. Standing 33 metres high, the tower was designed for defence and takes its name from the red stones used in its construction. Visitors can reach the top of the five-storey tower via 85 stone steps to enjoy panoramic views of the Mediterranean.
The lower floors house Alanya Ethnography Museum, which showcases local handicrafts and traditional culture from the Seljuk and Ottoman periods. The tower is a significant monumental structure and a key site for those interested in medieval architecture.
6. Cleopatra Beach
Cleopatra Beach is one of the most famous beaches in the Mediterranean and is a primary destination for sun and sea in Alanya. Located just 10 minutes from the town centre, the beach is named after the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra, who is said to have swum here. The 2.5-kilometre coastline features golden sands and shallow, calm waters, making it safe for families with children.

8. Damlataş Cave
Discovered by accident in 1948, Damlataş Cave is Alanya’s most famous geological site. It is located at the foot of Alanya Castle, directly behind Damlataş Beach. The cave features millions-of-years-old stalactites and stalagmites along 50-metre passages.
It was the first cave in Turkey to be opened to tourism and is known for its air, which is said to benefit those with respiratory conditions like asthma. Special 21-day health treatments are conducted in the cave. After visiting the cave, you can relax at the Blue Flag Damlataş Beach located nearby.
9. Aspendos Theatre
Aspendos Theatre is located 94 kilometres from central Alanya and is one of the world’s best-preserved Roman structures. Built in the 2nd century AD, it continues to attract visitors from around the globe. With a capacity of 20,000 people, it is one of Turkey’s largest and most intact ancient theatres.
It reflects classical Roman architectural features and was originally used for religious ceremonies and theatre performances. Today, the theatre is famous for its exceptional acoustics and hosts international cultural events and classical music concerts.
10. Alanya Marina
Located on İzzet Azakoğlu Avenue in the town centre, Alanya Marina is a popular social and sightseeing hub.
